Inner City Legal Centre provides free, confidential legal advice and selected casework. We deliver community legal education, and engage in law reform.
We offer free legal advice across criminal, employment, civil and general law to our local community and targeted groups.

Legal Support for Our Local Community
We provide free legal advice and assistance to eligible residents of our local catchment areas, which includes the local government areas of City of Sydney, Waverley, Woollahra, Willoughby, North Sydney, Lane Cove, Mosman, and Northern Beaches.

Issues we cannot help with
Please note we do not give advice on tenancy matters, immigration law, taxation law, commercial/business matters, conveyancing, Centrelink/social security matters, workers compensation or neighbourhood disputes. But get in touch and we can refer you to the right place.


Eligibility
We prioritise assistance to people experiencing disadvantage in our communities.
We are a small, underfunded community service, if we can’t help you, we will always try to refer you to another service that can help.

Request a Legal Advice Appointment
Most of our legal advice is provided by telephone, but we can also provide face-to-face and video advice, depending on your legal issue and circumstances.
To make an appointment please contact ICLC on 02 9332 1966 Monday to Friday between 10am-12pm and 2pm-4pm.
You will be asked to provide some in-take processes and an outline of your legal issue. If you are eligible for our services, you may then be booked in for a phone appointment with a solicitor.
