The Inner City Legal Centre is located at the Basement Level of 50-52 Darlinghurst Rd, Kings Cross NSW.

From street level the office can be accessed through the door next to the library. Our offices can also be accessed through the lifts located in the foyer of Kings Cross library. If the doors to the foyer are locked, please ring our doorbell (located on the left wall of our door) and a member of staff will let you in

The centre is on the opposite side of the road from Kings Cross station, with bus stops on the street level outside the station.

There are a number of free 1~4 hour parking spots on Brougham St, a 5 minute walk from the Centre.

There are occasionally spots available on Darlinghurst Road, but it is a very busy street and not reliable for finding a parking space.

There is paid parking available at Ward Avenue, behind the Kings Cross police station. During your appointment, you can ask staff for a $12 flat‑rate parking ticket.

There is a publicly available 4p mobility parking space near 11 Springfield Avenue (5 minutes from the centre).

There is a lift in the foyer of King's Cross Library with access to our offices. If the library foyer is closed, please ring our doorbell (to the right of our door) and a member of staff will let you in. The lift doors are 90 cm (w) x 195 cm (h).

There is an additional lift at the back of building on Kellett St - if you would prefer to be let in this way, please notify us so we can assist you with entry. This lift's door is 90 cm (w) 200 cm (h).

There is an all gender accessible toilet located on the same floor as our offices. Gendered toilets are located toward the back of the building but require key card access (a staff member will be able to provide access).

Both guide dogs and support animals are permitted in our offices. Please ensure you let a member of staff know they will be with you.

Support people are also welcome during your visit and your appointment, but we will require some additional details such as their name before they are able to join you.

Interpreters are available for all appointments (in-person, over the phone and video call). Our staff have experience working with interpreters and can make adjustments to ensure your appointment is as comfortable as possible.

Can't make it in-person? No worries! We are able to facilitate most appointments both over the phone and over video call. Interpreters are also available for both these options.

Yes, we can! If you are under 18 let us know, in many cases we can advise you. If you want to bring your parents, we will need to talk to you (the young person) privately first.

The Inner City Legal Centre offices are at basement level. It is a private space, unable to be viewed from the street. The offices are lit by fluorescent lights. The floors in the corridor are linoleum, with the office floors being carpeted. There are places to sit in the foyer, and our friendly staff are able to provide basics such as water while you wait.

When it comes time for your appointment, you will be taken to one of our offices by a lawyer. The lawyer will often have an additional member of staff with them. Accommodations can be made to ensure you are comfortable during your appointment.

If you are uncomfortable with attending your session in-person, we can arrange for a video call or phone call instead. We are flexible and take pride in ensuring the safety and wellbeing of our clients.
